`Welcome to Maybo's twenty forth e-newsletter.

If you know a role model in conflict management you have until 24th August 2007 to enter them for the Conflict Professional awards. Award winners gain industry wide recognition for the good work going on to reduce violence and aggression in the workplace.

Introduced last year by ConflictPro, the awards highlight personal achievement and best practice in conflict resolution. Judges will be looking for frontline staff, trainers and managers who can demonstrate how they have made a significant contribution to reducing and managing conflict at work.

Awards are sponsored for sectors including healthcare, justice, transport, security, licensed retail, local authority and retail.

Winners will be announced at the awards presentation evening which follows the ConflictPro Conference, to be opened by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, President of Victim Support. The venue is a Clifford Chance’s prestigious harbourside building, London on 27th September.

Building on last year’s outstanding event the 2007 ConflictPro Conference presents leading edge research and best practice plus a choice of Masterclasses covering aspects of training and violence risk management. This is THE annual event for professionals engaged in this area of health and safety and training and we hope to see you there.
