Maybo: Managing Conflict

Maybo Newsletter

Welcome to Maybo's sixth e-newsletter.

We hope the season of goodwill is living up to its name in your organization. Unfortuntately many jobs experience a “silly season” due to an excess of alcohol and stress (and that’s just the staff!). The emergency services are often at the sharp end with a rise in accidents, assaults and domestic disputes. In most cases this is directly related to alcohol consumption.

But the knock on effect of the festive spirit can increase verbal abuse and assaults on many workers including those in retail, hospitality and transport.

Crowds in bars, shops and stations provide additional safety concerns and need to be managed carefully to prevent conflict. For some ideas on crowd conflict strategies at Christmas click here.

Looking ahead
Maybo continues to be at the forefront of conflict management and is introducing a number of exciting new products and services in the New Year.
