Specification for Classroom Training

    Onsite Team Training Courses

    Certified classroom training delivered by a Maybo Senior Trainer to frontline staff at your premises throughout the United Kingdom. Courses are charged on a daily rate which includes the following:

    • All Maybo incurred expenses (e.g. Senior Trainer travel, accommodation and subsistence).
    • Review of your training needs analyses for each Learner group and subsequent programme adaptions and customisation.
    • Maybo certificates in PDF format for successful course participants (with BILD ACT accreditation where applicable and subject to requirements). 
    • Access to interactive Maybo web apps (also known as eBooks) for all participants during training and for the duration of their certification post-training (accessed via QR code during training and/or with certificate details at https://www.maybo.com/learner-resources) 
    • Post-course online report detailing attendees, assessment outcomes, certificate details, incident reports and participant feedback.
    • Periodic training evaluation in collaboration with Client on pre-agreed frequency (e.g. quarterly).
    • Investigation into and report on the outcome of any incidents (e.g. injuries) reported by the Maybo trainer during training.

    The daily rate does not include the following which will need to be provided by you: 

    Course fees are invoiced following delivery of the course and the issuing of certificates and the post-course report. 

    Course scheduling is done collaboratively with you. Wherever possible Maybo endeavours to meet your date requirements but this is subject to availability. Typically, 6-8 weeks’ notice is required but shorter notice periods may be viable subject to availability. 

    All bookings and delivery of onsite team training courses will be subject to Maybo’s terms and conditions. 

    Maybo Certified Programmes

    Maybo Certified Programmes are customised by a Maybo Specialist based on the information provided by you in the form of a training needs analysis. The inclusion of restrictive physical interventions is conditional on evidence of the need and approval for the use of each intervention within the service/s in which training participants work, and, where applicable, evidence of the organisation’s compliance with the Restraint Reduction Network Training Standards (available here: https://restraintreductionnetwork.org). 

    Client Trainers can only use Maybo training resources to deliver Maybo Certified Programmes to the training recipients approved by the Client and stated in the Programme specification. 

    When booking Onsite Team Training Courses to be delivered by Maybo, the Client is responsible for identifying the appropriate Programme for the training group. Where there is no appropriate existing Programme the Client will provide Maybo with a new training needs analysis for the group and Maybo will customise a new Certified Programme and submit to the Client for approval. If required, Maybo will consult (remotely) with a representative of the Client organisation/service during this process. If an onsite consultation is required this will be subject to an additional fee of £125 per hour (including expenses).
