Proven experience and expertise
We provide colleagues with the skills required to manage behaviours of concern, with the aim of creating positive and safer environments where children can actively learn and explore.
This is essential in early years settings, where incidents that are not appropriately managed can impact a child’s safety, trust and development.
Our comprehensive training is based upon the development of positive values that promote the respect and choice of individuals. These learning methods are consistent with the principles of positive behaviour support, focusing on primary and secondary strategies for preventing and defusing behaviours that challenge. This enables staff to:
- Better understand a child’s physiological and emotional needs that may act as a barrier to learning
- Improve their environment
- Engage children in ways that reduce behaviours that challenge
We also provide training on how best to support children with additional needs.
