    Door Supervision

Maybo is a leader in the development of conflict management and physical intervention training for door supervisors

    Proven experience and trusted expertise

Maybo provides door supervisors with the skills to learn how best to recognise, respond and resolve siutations that represent a risk to colleagues and customers.

Maybo's SIA approved physical intervention programme is the preferred choice for most of the major security, event and venue operators and formed a core part of the mandatory training provided to over 20,000 personnel at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

We also worked with the British Institute of Innkeeping Awarding Body to develop risk reduction guidance and the first conflict management qualifications for the licensed retail sector. These awards became the benchmark upon which the Security Industry Authority modelled the conflict management and physical intervention aspects of its regulatory requirements for door supervisors.

We believe that most conflict can be avoided or defused through good customer service and positive communication skills, however, additional physical intervention and incident response training also helps to ensure that security personnel can respond appropriately to situations that carry heightened safety risks.

Maybo's level 3 physical intervention trainer development programme is the preferred choice for most major security and event organisations, venue operators and door supervisors.

Training providers and employers can deliver our end-user programme within the private security industry by becoming a Maybo Licensed Centre.
