    The language we use is important. Our words and phrases can often have a deeper meaning than we may intend, which can impact those around us positively, or negatively. 

    Due to this, it is important that we use carefully considered words and phrases when talking about mental health across care settings. 

    The Mental Health Coordinating Council have created a useful quick reference guide to use when talking or writing about mental health which you can find below.
